MX-Fantasy Las Vegas Enduro Safaris are one week trips to United States, with a pinnacle of four day safari adventure in Mojave desert in Nevada and finish in the flashing neonlights of Las Vegas. The diverse routes wander in the rugged sceneries of Wild West and they guarantee every offroad rider an unforgettable riding experience.
Safaris are full service packages starting from bike rental & guide services and they have been made unbelievably easy for You. Practically you only book your flights to Los Angeles, take your riding equipment with you and once you have arrived at the airport, MX-Fantasy takes care of the rest. There is a group size limit of 5-8 riders, which enables very personal service. The Main guide and the lead rider of the safaris is Nevada-born Daryl Folks, who is a real desert fox as he has successfully competed for over over 30 years in races like Baja-rally etc. There is also a sweep rider, who ride the other bag bike behind the group to ensure everything is fine with the riders. Chase vecihe and it´s driver take care maintaining bikes and the riders every 50-70 kilometers.
The routes wander in deserts, mountains, sandpools and dried river bottoms. There are narrow single paths as well as broader wagon tracks. You can always find an easier route nearby and some of the transitions we will do via small public roads. Daily riding time is 8-10 hours, which means approximately 130–210 km. depending on route choice and rider´s skill level.
We mainly use KTM 350, 450 XC-F and 300 XC bike models, which are shared between the guests in order of booking confirmations. The bikes are equipped with mousse tire inserts and steering stabilizers. In safaris, there is always a selection of spare parts and an extra bike with us, to ensure your riding is guaranteed despite technical problems.
Accommodation in your first and last day will be at a quality residence of MX Fantasy in city of Perris. In Las Vegas you will stay at luxurious Casino Hotels and during the desert safari in modest motels. You will always stay in a room for two persons. All the dining in safari time is included in your package price: breakfast, snacks, lunch, dinner as well as no alcoholic drinks. In other times, like in Las Vegas and Perris, dining is not included in your package price.
An example itinerary of 8 days MX-Fantasy Enduro Safari:
Saturday:A morning flight from Helsinki to Los Angeles, where we will land in the afternoon. Transport to city of Perris, where riders are accommodated to MX-Fantasy house.
Sunday: Resting and recovering from the jetlag. Riders can do some shopping in local motor stores, if necessary.
Monday: A four hours morning drive by car to Boulder City, near Las Vegas. We make a half day journey to the surrounding area, in order to get used to desert riding and to adjust the bikes for personal demands of each rider. Accommodation at Casino Hotel in Boulder City.
Tuesday: In the morning we drive 20 minutes by car to Nelson Hills, where the real safari begins. In the evening, before sunset, we arrive in the village of Cal Nev Ari, where we stay in a small motel. .
Wednesday: We ride towards the village of Nipton, where we arrive before sunset. Accommodation in a small hotel.
Thursday: We begin our return journey to Nelson Hills, where we arrive in the afternoon. For the evening we move to Las Vegas for free sightseeing. Accommodation at Casino Hotel near the main street.
Friday: Sightseeing in the morning and by the noon we begin our journey back to Perris, where we accommodate at MX-Fantasy house.
Saturday: A morning transport to Los Angeles airport, where the flights to Helsinki usually take off in the afternoon/evening. On our way to the airport there is a chance to visit outlet stores to find some cheap souvenirs.
